DESCRIPTION:Emerging artists in LJMU Degree Show 2017\nLiverpool John Moore
 s University’s School of Art and Design will be showcasing its graduates
  work from Friday 26 May\, in its end of year Degree Show.\nFrom Friday 26
  May to Friday 9 June (excluding Sundays and Bank Holiday Monday)\, the pu
 blic are invited to the free exhibition to explore a showcase of graduatin
 g LJMU students’ work in Architecture\, Fashion\, Fine Art\, Graphic Des
 ign and Illustration.\nA renowned highlight in the city’s creative arts 
 calendar\, visitors to the Degree Show can expect public performance\, cha
 llenging art forms\, cutting-edge creative design\, innovative public real
 m and building projects\, beautiful photography and breath-taking fashion 
 collections.\nThere are also several artworks connected to the city of Liv
 erpool\, including North Docks\, a 360˚ film produced by student Bryn Wal
 den-Jones which explores how the industrial North Dockland area of Liverpo
 ol\, like many industrial areas\, has become home to a variety of nightlif
 e cultures. The film puts the viewer in a virtual reality space\, surroun
 ded by four video screens to enhance the experience of changing environmen
 ts.\nA collaborative project between Graphic Design student\, Jess Lord\, 
 and Illustration student\, Dylan Fox\, involved researching the history an
 d life of the inhabitants of significant buildings within the city\, with 
 the outcomes focusing directly on the architectural and decorative details
  of the buildings\, creating new patterns from the existing shapes.\nAnoth
 er project with a local influence is student Chelsea Massey’s rebranding
  of Toxteth Town Hall\, which is based on an emblem on the wall of the mai
 n hall. It uses a stamp system to solve the issue of cost and can be easil
 y applied to many different mediums. Stickers and badges have also been cr
 eated so they can be easily applied to items including clothing and statio
 nery.\nStudent Hannah McNichols also carried out another rebranding exerci
 se for the Baltic Triangle\, based on coordinates due to the history and t
 he importance of knowing the location due to parts still being a developme
 nt area.\nThe Degree Show is being held at the University’s John Lennon 
 Art and Design Building\, Duckinfield Street\, off Brownlow Hill. For deta
