a larger three day research event that includes PhD workshops\, discussio

researchers to enter into speculation\, critique\, exchange and dialogue
about their research in relation to the latest festival announcement of tr
 ansmediale\, Berlin.\n\nIts 2016 festival theme ‘Conversation Piece’ a
ims to highlight the compulsive actions of digital culture\, and how we ar
e constantly encouraged to stay active\, to make\, to share and to secure.
The public events\, like the workshop\, further encourage us to consider
the nature of these actions and their limits\, asking what happens when re
search is less about exchange and more about excess?\n\nThe project is org
anised by APRJA (A Peer-Reviewed Journal About_)\, Participatory IT Resear
 ch Centre\, Aarhus University\, transmediale/art&amp\;digitalculture\, Liv
erpool John Moores University in partnership with Liverpool Biennial. It r
esults in the publication of a peer-reviewed newspaper to be launched at t
ransmediale festival in February\, and a dedicated issue of the open acces
 s online academic journal\, APRJA.\n\nFull details here\n\nFor further inf
ormation\, please visit the website or email Dr Joasia Krysa (J.M.Krysa@lj
