SUMMARY:HeadSpace at EggSpace: Independents Biennial: Grabbing Time\, Andre
 w Small & Fiona Stirling
DESCRIPTION:Grabbing Time\, Andrew Small &amp\; Fiona Stirling\nThe Egg Caf
 e\, L1 4ED\nDate(s): 10/06/2023 - 30/06/2023\n10:00 am - 7:00 pm\n\nGrabb
ing Time\, Andrew Small &amp\; Fiona Stirling (Balcony installation)\n
\nAndy Small and Fiona Stirling create these works by exchanging material
 s\, experiments\, off-cuts\, demonstration outcomes\, found objects and ha
ppy accidents. They pass these objects to each other\, grabbing time to di
scuss the results between their teaching sessions and other jobs and respo
nsibilities\, collaborating through ‘successive destructions’ (Bataill
 e) to make new forms.\n\nThe artworks evolve through acts of shared and re
linquished control. The alterations involve a succession of changes\, each
destroying the proceeding state\, which can be unsettling but fun!
