SUMMARY:HeadSpace at EggSpace: Independents Biennial: Everything we wanted
 to say\, Andrew Small
DESCRIPTION:Everything we wanted to say\, Andrew Small\nThe Egg Cafe\, L1 4
 ED\nDate(s): 10/06/2023 - 30/06/2023\n10:00 am - 7:00 pm\n\nEverything we
wanted to say\, Andrew Small\n\nI am primarily interested in the relatio
nship between art and design and its functions in our shared spaces\,  wo
rking predominantly on site-specific projects. I have had the opportunity
to collaborate with many fantastic commissioning bodies\, engineers\, arch
itects\, designers and communities over the last twenty-five years.\n\nI a
m delighted to show a collection of projects from this period in the incom
parable Egg Café gallery.\n\nOn the balcony\, we are also showing a colle
ction of works I make with my teaching colleague Fiona Stirling.\n\nWe cre
ate these pieces by exchanging ideas\, workshop offcuts\, found objects\,
demonstration outcomes\, and happy accidents. Responding to our different
sensibilities\,  we collaborate\, passing the works back and forth until
 we agree on the outcome.
