 \n\n\nJoin artists Unfinished Business (Anna and Leo) for a week of fun an
 d fermentation at Incredible Edible Knowsley.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAs 
 part of their ongoing project\, The Instinct Lab\, Unfinished Business wil
 l be in residence at Incredible Edible\, Knowsley\, in June 2024.\n\n\n\n\
 n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe Instinct Lab explores the connection between our 
 gut\, our intuition and instinct\, our ancient ancestors (micro-organisms!
 )\, the cycle of life and death and how we can make positive decisions for
  our lives and the life of the world we inhabit.\nTogether\, they invite y
 ou to build and contribute to The Home to the Spirit of the Ferment\; a ne
 w community space to sit\, to contemplate and connect with our ancestors (
 basically a garden shed where all the ferments that we will be making can 
 transform). From 18th - 22nd June there’s a jam packed schedule of activ
 ities at Incredible Edible - from fermentation\, carpentry and divination\
 , to experimental art workshops.\nDrop in every day to be part of building
  the shed\, or book onto one of the free workshops happening in the space.
  Staying for the full day? A light lunch will be provided each day\, but f
 eel free to bring your own refreshments too.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nGet Involved
 \nTuesday 18th June\n\n\n 	9am - 12pm Community breakfast to celebrate In
 credible Edible’s land transfer. Contribute to and bury a community time
  capsule (drop-in)\n 	12pm - 1.30pm Shed Installation and Pickle Picnic (
 food provided\, including pickles and ferment\, drop-in)\n 	1.30pm - 3pm 
 The Past\, the Present and the Kimchi workshop. Explore what you value fro
 m your past and present and learn how to make kimchi\, a classic Korean si
 de dish of spicy fermented vegetables. Please book a free place for this 
 workshop.\n\nThursday 20th June\n\n\n 	11am - 1pm and 2.30pm - 4.30pm C
 ommunity Shed Building and painting (drop-in)\n 	6pm - 8pm DIY Tarot: DIY
  Sauerkraut workshop. Learn how to make sauerkraut (fermented cabbage) and
  learn the fundamentals of shared tarot reading. Please book a free place
  for this workshop.\n\nFriday 21st June\n\n\n 	10am - 12pm and 1.30pm - 3.
 30pm Community Shed Building and painting (drop-in)\n 	1.30pm - 3.30pm F
 ermentation for the Future workshop. Create instant paintings with ferment
 ed beetroot and explore their hidden messages for the future\, then learn 
 how to make a magical 1-5 year ferment called fervida\, which has many use
 s\, from plant food\, to gut support\, to all purpose cleaner! Please boo
 k a free place for this workshop.\n\nSaturday 22nd June\n\n 	10am - 12pm 
 Community Shed Building and painting (drop-in)\n 	2pm - 4pm The Instinct 
 Lab Celebration. Celebrate the launch of the Home of the Spirit of the Fer
 ment - aka the fermentation shed! Try your kimchi\, burp your fervida and 
 sauerkraut and create shrines to the past and present within the shed.\n\n
 \n\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout the project\nWhat is instinct\, intuition\, gut feelin
 g?\nHow do we feed it\, what do we feed it with?\nIs instinct something th
 at happens only inside us\, or is it a collective or communal experience?\
 nThe Instinct Lab is a participatory creative research project\, exploring
  emerging scientific knowledge about the symbiotic relationship between an
 imals\, plants and the microbial world.\n\n\n\n\n\n
