SUMMARY:St John's Market: IB18: St John's Market: Ellie Woods: Untitled\, C
 offee Shop
DESCRIPTION:Ellie Woods: Untitled\, Coffee Shop\n\nWoods' work focuses main
ly on photography and filmmaking and explores ways in which her photograph
s can be experienced. She does this through printing\, sound and installat
ion. The aim of her work is to create a unique framing for her books so th
at they can be handled in a specific atmosphere as well as encouraging aud
ience interaction.\n\nEllie Woods on her installation:\n\n"The installatio
n is a snapshot captured from a coffee shop\, with the sounds\, scents and
views to match. The purpose of the work is to encourage audience interact
ion and allow them to become a part of the work\, as they sit on the chair
s and look at my photo books\, in the ideal setting I created."
