The artists I’m inspired by ar e Joseph Cornell\, Nikki De Sant Phalle\, Joseph Beuys and Goya. I trained in 3D design and ceramics and glass studying at Middlesex University and the Royal College of Art.\n\nFor many years I have kept scrap books of qui rky stories and imagery that appeal to me. These\, combined with my intere st in the natural world\, feed into my work. My work is about how humans b ehave in the world. The images and assemblages that I make are about how h umans treat animals as commodities and the cost of greed and environmental destruction. This work is a clarion call for a better world\, one in whic h the planet that sustains us is respected. All life is equal and no life has a price." \n\n17th August - 16th September\n\nPV Friday 17th August 6. 00 - 9.00 ATTACH;FMTTYPE=image/jpeg:https://www.artinliverpool.com/wp-content/upload s/2018/06/Pam-Holstein-Polae-Bear.jpg LOCATION:ABC L1\, Carlisle Buildings\, 67-69 Victoria Street\, Liverpool\, L1 6DE\, Liverpool\, United Kingdom GEO:53.408452;-2.984004 X-APPLE-STRUCTURED-LOCATION;VALUE=URI;X-ADDRESS=Carlisle Buildings\, 67-69 Victoria Street\, Liverpool\, L1 6DE\, Liverpool\, United Kingdom;X-APPLE- RADIUS=100;X-TITLE=ABC L1:geo:53.408452,-2.984004 END:VEVENT BEGIN:VTIMEZONE TZID:Europe/London X-LIC-LOCATION:Europe/London BEGIN:DAYLIGHT DTSTART:20180325T020000 TZOFFSETFROM:+0000 TZOFFSETTO:+0100 TZNAME:BST END:DAYLIGHT END:VTIMEZONE END:VCALENDAR
