Many great things happen here in the North. Fantastic community projects, great social enterprise and other business ideas, wonderful food, crafts and art, individual talents and endless amounts of great storytelling. Some of it has always been here and some is moving into the area with our new neighbours.
Here at Homebaked we believe that the process of ‘regenerating’ our neighbourhood should be led and powered by the people that live here. We want to celebrate what is happening here, help develop it further and make working connections between different amazing people, ideas and projects.
On 12 December 2015 we are putting on a first event of many to celebrate everything local. There will be stalls with great food and drink, crafts and ideas, workshops and activities for children and of course entertainment.
Homebaked Community Land Trust will present the first ideas for our community-owned High Street scheme. You are invited to meet our architects and the local design team and discuss the ideas with your neighbours.
