 \nHazlehurst Urban Sketching Group\n\nExciting news from Hazlehurst Studio
 s as we gear up for our latest urban sketching meet up. Join us for a crea
 tive journey led by Allison John\, our resident artist and urban sketching
  enthusiast. We are a group of varied experience\, the atmosphere is relax
 ed\, and artistic adventures await!\n\nWe will me meeting in the main car 
 park at Castle Park Arts Centre where there are many wonderful opportuntie
 s to sketch . There is a cafe and toilet facilities at the centre.\n\nHazl
 ehurst Studios\, we're a not-for-profit art studios based in Runcorn\, Che
 shire\, passionate about fostering a vibrant local creative community.\n\n
 What is Urban Sketching? Urban Sketchers is a global artistic community t
 hat specializes in sketching on location within the cities\, towns\, and v
 illages they call home or explore while traveling. This creative movement 
 originated on Flickr in 2007\, thanks to the efforts of journalist Gabriel
  Campanario.\n\nIt's a fantastic day out\, spent with kindred spirits\, sk
 etching the beauty of your local surroundings. This is an excellent opport
 unity\, especially if you're a bit apprehensive about sketching in public 
 on your own. Plus\, you'll have the chance to connect with fellow locals w
 ho share your passion for sketching.\n\nWhat Should You Bring? Make sure 
 to dress appropriately for the ever-changing British weather! Bring your p
 referred sketching materials and a sensible lightweight foldable chair. Yo
 u can also bring along your lunch or visit the local cafe when we stop for

  - Our first urban sketching session took place at Hazlehurst Studios\n\n
 November - Saw us adventuring to our beautiful local church\n\nDecember 
 - We crossed the water (River Mersey) and visited the Catalyst Museum\n\nJ
 anuary - We took in the wonder of Gaia at Norton Priory\n\nFebruary and M
 arch - In February we returned to Hazlehurst Studios and March was a deli
 ghtful experience at our local Buddhist Temple.\n\nApril - April's Urban 
 Sketching session on April the 12th\, saw the sketchers heading up to Phoe
 nix Park.\n\nMay - Saw the group meeting at The Brindley\, with great vie
 ws of the Bridgewater Can\n\n\n
