 lebration of the University of Liverpool Department and Garstang Museum pa
 st and present. For the first time ever\, the Department is fully opening 
 its doors to the public\, giving people the opportunity to learn about and
  participate in the interesting research being carried out here within ACE
 .\nOptical Microscopy Sessions\nArchaeologists use microscopes to discover
  clues about ancient materials or objects. Play archaeological detective i
 n our bookable microscopy sessions and find out how different materials we
 re processed in antiquity.\nDuration: 30 minutes\nPlease note that photogr
 aphs and footage will be taken throughout Garstang Festival of Archaeology
 \, Classics and Egyptology. These will be used by the University for marke
 ting and publicity in our publications\, on our website and in social medi
 a or in any third party publication. Please contact the event organiser if
  you have any concerns or if you wish to be exempted from this activity.
