SUMMARY:Childwall Emporium: Furniture Painting for beginners
DESCRIPTION:Have you wondered about upcycling a piece of your furniture but
don’t know where to start? Then this is the course for you. Join Peter
at Childwall Emporium for a laid-back workshop on how to paint furniture.\
n\nThis is a great workshop on how to use furniture paint and the steps yo
u need to take to make your furniture into something really special. You w
ill go through the furniture painting process from start to finish\, and u
pcycle your old battered piece of furniture into a statement piece to be p
roud of. Some of the techniques you will learn\; include the two-tone colo
ur effect\, dry brushing and shabby chic. On the day you are advised to we
ar suitable clothing and footwear – chalk paint does not wash out\, so o
ld clothes are best. Light refreshments will be provided. The course is 12
-4 pm and there is parking to rear and neighbouring roads.\n\nWe will supp
ly all the painting material (paint\, brushes\, cleaners) needed to paint
your piece. The only thing you need to bring is a small piece of furniture
\, for example\, a small stool or side table. If you are unsure of the siz
e of furniture to bring then please contact us.\n\nIf you would like we ca
n provide furniture at a small cost.\n\nWe are requesting that face masks
are worn in the shop area but the workshop area has been made covid secure
with screens so no masks are required only when walking around. If you ha
ve any questions about the steps we have taken to make sure the workshop i
s a safe event please get in touch.\n\nBook here
