 rtist Led St Helens [Lecture Theatre/seminars]\n\n\n\nAbout the Free Art S
 chool\nThe Free Art School is a series of creative sessions run by Arti
 st-Led St Helens\, where we get together to share the stuff that helps art
 ists actually get by. It’s about learning the behind-the-scenes bits (t
 hings like writing proposals\, planning events\, getting paid\, or finding
  funding) without any jargon or pressure. Led by Claire Weetman and Gee
  Collins\, it’s all based on the idea that everyone’s got something t
 o teach and something to learn.\n\nWhere relevant\, we will add key learni
 ng points from these sessions to the Artist-Led St Helens Wiki page\, so 
 that the information is freely available in future.\n\nThere are a maximum
  of 8 places available on each session.\n\nThis Session:\nFunding - approa
 ches that work for artists.\nHow to write that funding application... a co
 llaborative action learning session.\nWe will practically and collaborativ
 ely work through a funding form with  other creatives to learn about how 
 the forms work\, what they are asking for and how you might answer those q

 ist Led St Helens to devise and deliver this programme of work. Supported
