The footage is slowed to allow a greater appreciat ion of the effect and character of the visual damage to the original mater ials\, which include everything from fragments of silent melodramas to eth nographic studies\, travelogues\, newsreel footage and wildlife documentar ies.\n\nDifferent Trains is a brand new visual score by Bill Morrison made to the sound of Steve Reich’s legendary composition. This poetic new fi lm will be created from archival film stock depicting train journeys spann ing America and continental Europe.\n\n\n\n- See more at: http://www.metal culture.com/event/film-station-decasia-different-trains-double-bill-u/#sth ash.nkgaX4Rw.dpuf ATTACH;FMTTYPE=image/jpeg:https://www.artinliverpool.com/wp-content/upload s/2016/09/Decasia-3-small.jpg LOCATION:Metal at Edge Hill Station\, Tunnel Road\, Liverpool\, L7 6ND\, Li verpool\, United Kingdom GEO:53.401559;-2.948915 X-APPLE-STRUCTURED-LOCATION;VALUE=URI;X-ADDRESS=Tunnel Road\, Liverpool\, L 7 6ND\, Liverpool\, United Kingdom;X-APPLE-RADIUS=100;X-TITLE=Metal at Edg e Hill Station:geo:53.401559,-2.948915 END:VEVENT BEGIN:VTIMEZONE TZID:Europe/London X-LIC-LOCATION:Europe/London BEGIN:DAYLIGHT DTSTART:20160327T020000 TZOFFSETFROM:+0000 TZOFFSETTO:+0100 TZNAME:BST END:DAYLIGHT END:VTIMEZONE END:VCALENDAR
