 \nProgramme\n\nThis course will provide a comprehensive guide for artists 
 who need to photograph their work and then share or publish their image fi
 les for promotional purposes. The course will work from basics and will co
 ver:• Tips for successfully photographing 2D and 3D work• Basic adjust
 ments to improve the photographs of your work• Understanding file sizes 
 and resolution• Understanding file types• Resizing images• Cropping 
 images• Choosing the best file size and file type for different purposes
  • Sending and sharing image files\n\nThe course will include taught con
 tent and practical exercises.In order to take part in this course particip
 ants must:\n\n• Know how to open and save files on their computer or tab
 let• Bring (and know how to use) a laptop or iPad.\n\nTutor: Mark Reeves
 \n\nThe tutor is Wirral-based photographer Mark Reeves. Mark has been a ph
 otographer for many years\, having worked with both film and digital proce
 sses. He has worked as a photo-journalist with work published in national 
 newspapers and specialist magazines. He holds the Associateship distinctio
 n from the Royal Photographic Society and he regularly exhibits and sells

 n editing software (Preview)\, however if you wish to download a free appl
 ication such as VSCO or Adobe Photoshop Fix\, or even invest in a more adv
 anced package such as Lightroom\, you are very welcome to.\n\nYour tutor w
 ill be able to advise you on what may be best for editing your work during
