 In this three week course you will learn how to create designs from scratc
 h and digitise sketches and photographs for embroidery machines.\n\nStarti
 ng from the very beginning your tutor Chris Huffee will cover the key Inks
 cape concepts and tools\, no previous experience is necessary. Over the th
 ree week course you will learn how to set up your environment for digital 
 manufacture\, adding plugins to add functionality. You will have the oppor
 tunity to get hands on with an embroidery machine and add adornments to yo
 ur own fabric items.\n\nA limited number of laptops are available\, if you
  are able to bring your own you will be able to install the open source so
 ftware you need to run most tools in a maker space.\n\n 	Installing and se

 ure\n 	Creating embroidery patterns using Inkscape drawing tools\n 	Digiti
