SUMMARY:FACT: FACT: Branded ЗАТАВРОВАНА + In-Conversation -[12A]
DESCRIPTION:\n\n\nBRANDED ЗАТАВРОВАНА + IN-CONVERSATION [12A]\n\
 n\nRuntime: 72 mins\n\nGenre: Experimental\n\n\n\nBritish Ukrainian produc
tion Branded ЗАТАВРОВАНА is an artist’s defiance\, in the f
ace of atrocity\, to uphold Art and Freedom. Horrifying in its depiction o
f the persecution of artists in repressive regimes\, the struggle of being
confined as a prisoner of war is contrasted with the beauty of art and wi
th a joyousness at its heart. Pauline Amos performs\, with the voice of Ka
teryna Polishchuk - a Ukrainian soldier who was captured and held by the R
ussian army in Mariupol.\nArtistic expression is not a luxury\, it is a ne
cessity. To repel the invader\, the bond between artists and writers and f
reedom fighters must always be strong\, with esprit de corps. The film ha
s a powerful message that resonates with Ukraine and around the world: We
fight For Freedom and Art is our Voice.\nA percentage of the profits from
this screening will be donated to Ukrainian charities MamaJane &amp\; P
 ay Back 4 Ukraine.\nDoors: 18:30. Screening: 19:00. Language: Ukrainian (E
nglish subtitles).\nThe screening is followed by an In-Conversation with D
irector Pauline Amos and Producer Colin Vaines.\nPlease note this film has

 nsitive epilepsy.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nBOOK NOW — £10 / £5\n\n\n\nWed\, 27
