SUMMARY:Editions Ltd: Editions Ltd: Pressgang - under pressure
DESCRIPTION:Pressgang - under pressure\n\n7th September to 25th September\
 n\nRuth Ball\, Susie Overill\, Chris and Loraine Waite\n\nLast chance to s
ee this all too brief exhibition of some of our favourite printmakers\, wh
o we are delighted to see in this "pop up" show\n\nWe are lucky to have th
em back again showing new works and bringing us up to date with what they'
ve been up to.\n\nRuth  creates a wide variety of work.  She uses the
interplay between enamelling and printmaking to develop exciting new piece
s in both mediums.\n\nSusie is influenced by landscape\, textures and colo
ur which she interprets in an abstract style using and combining different
techniques.\n\nChris is interested in both natural and man-made forms. Hi
s work ranges from capturing the essence of figurative subjects using the
simplest of tools and materials\, to producing graphic geometric images us
ing photosensitive plate. Loraine is inspired by her love of nature and vi
sits to museums. She enjoys experimenting and discovering the best techni
que for a particular image.\n\nWe think the range of techniques and approa
ches to printmaking shown in these works add up to an exciting and visuall
y stunning show. Hope you like it!
