SUMMARY:Editions Ltd: Editions Ltd: Paul Romano - Fragments Made Beautiful
DESCRIPTION:We are delighted to show Paul Romano’s new works as part of o
ur regular winter exhibition with him here at Editions Gallery. Romano is
an established artist working in Liverpool.\n\nHe graduated in Fine Art fr
om Wirral Metropolitan College in 1999 and his work is in many private co
llections both here and abroad.\n\nOf his wonderful colourful paintings Ro
mano says:\n\n‘It is a perfect way for me to express sometimes what I ca
n’t say in words’\n\nHis main influence\, and one of his favourite art
ists which includes de Kooning and Schwitters\, is Picasso:\n\n‘Why? For
me his work is a total exploitation of creative experiments and his compo
sitions include collage which I use frequently. I love his mind set and I
try to tap into it when working!’\n\nColour too plays a huge part of Rom
ano’s work and so Matisse\, De Stael\, Miro influence him continually. H
e uses ephemera and objects found in daily life and which still contain fr
agments of colour or lettering which trigger memories or fresh happy artis
tic accident.\n\nWe hope you enjoy this joyful exhibition full of colour a
nd positivity!\n\nPaintings can be seen and purchased online here or bel
 ow\, or by contacting us info@editionsltd.net or by telephone 0151 236 4
236.\n\nEditions is open for framing by appointment throughout.
