SUMMARY:The Hatch: Dreaming The Earth - Marcia Crocombe
DESCRIPTION:Exhibition Opening: DREAMING THE EARTH – Marcia Crocombe\nT
he Hatch Gallery\, New Brighton\nThe Hatch Gallery is delighted to present
'DREAMING THE EARTH'\, a captivating solo exhibition by North Wales–bor
n artist Marcia Crocombe.\nWith a professional career spanning almost thre
e decades\, Marcia began as a commercial mural artist\, travelling across
the UK and parts of Europe to complete large-scale mural commissions. Sinc
e graduating with a BA (Hons) in Fine Art in 1993\, she has developed a di
stinctive painting practice from her home studio\, creating contemporary s
emi-abstract works inspired by the landscapes and dramatic coastline of No
rth Wales.\nIn Dreaming the Earth\, Marcia explores the emotional connect
ion between land\, sea\, and memory. Her paintings are rich in texture and
  atmosphere—earthy\, expressive\, and often dramatic in tone—reflectin
g the raw beauty of the natural environments that influence her work.\nAlo
ngside these more evocative pieces\, Marcia’s playful side occasionally
emerges through vibrant pop-art style paintings. These quirky\, nostalgic
works provide a striking and joyful contrast to the deeper\, atmospheric e
lements of the exhibition.\nThis exhibition invites visitors to experience
a body of work that moves between reflection and celebration of the natur
al world.\n The Hatch Gallery\n27th March - 30th May - Open every Friday
 / Saturday\n10:00am – 4:00pm\nAll are welcome to come along\, explore th
e exhibition\, and experience this beautiful collection of contemporary pa
 intings.\nPrivate View - 26th March 26 - contact for details
