 32 Hope Street\, Liverpool\, L1 8BX\n\nDark Matter: The unseen world of ar
 tist-led activity\, part of The Royal Standard’s ten year anniversary pr
 ogramme\, will investigate the trials\, tribulations and triumphs of creat
 ing and sustaining artist-led organisations.\n\nOur panellists will be dis
 cussing the struggle to secure spaces to house artist-led collectives and 
 organisations\; and the safety\, security and future for artist-led activi
 ty. With contributions from MODEL\, The Bluecoat\, Penthouse\, Supercollid
 er\, Seize Projects\, East Street Arts\, Paper Gallery\, Islington Mill an
 d The NewBridge Project amongst others.\n\nAfter the discussion we will al
 so be offering the opportunity for an exhibition tour of 'Gettin' the Hea
 rt Ready' before it closes on the 11th of September.\nItinerary:\nArrivals
  - 11:00-11:30\nPanel Discussion 1 - 11:30-13:00: \nOur first panel will 
 discuss the safety\, security and future for artist-led organisations and 
 will be chaired by Marie-Anne McQuay\, Head of Programmes at Bluecoat.\nPa
 nellists include: Lester Drake (East Street Arts)\, David Hancock (Paper G
 allery)\, Emma Thompson (Islington Mill)\, Charlotte Gregory (the NewBridg
 e project) and Sarah-Joy (Seize Projects)\nLunch - 13:00-14:00\nPanel D
 iscussion 2 - 14:00-15:30: \nThe afternoon panel will investigate the eff
 ects of space and location on artist-led activity and will be chaired by
  Kevin Hunt\, co-director at MODEL and former director at The Royal Stand
 ard.\nPanellists include: Rosanne Robertson and Debbie Sharp (Penthouse 
 MCR)\, Tom Island (Supercollider)\, Lara MacLeod and Peter Amoore (Rhubaba
 )\n--\n\nGettin' the Heart Ready Exhibition Tour - 16:00-17:00 \n\nJoin 
 us after the discussion for one of the final chances to see 'Gettin’ the
  Heart Ready' \, a group exhibition celebrating The Royal Standard’s co
 ming of age. The 23 artist-strong retrospective showcases artists that hav
 e been collaboratively nominated by our directors past and present\, in re
 cognition of their previous work for The Royal Standard\, and their career
