SUMMARY:The World of Glass: Daniel William O’Dempsey: North X NorthWest
DESCRIPTION:An Independents Biennial Exhibition\n\nNorth X NorthWest\nDanie
l William O’Dempsey\n\nA series of new poetry works championing conversa
tions about sustainability in its broadest sense – addressing spiritual
and mental wellbeing\, financial stability\, and environmental/domestic wa
ste.\n\nThe project intends to prompt introspective responses about self-u
nderstanding while challenging our relationship with money\, highlighting
how our capitalist society is fuelled by intrusive advertising and social
media consumption prompts. I want to encourage people to examine their ind
ividual consumption habits and waste production through critical thinking
and self-observation. The work aims to plant seeds that resonate with peop
le over time whilst celebrating the power of writing and its liberating po
tential. Regardless of ability\, writing should be encouraged\, and my pub
lic interventions support this ethos.\n\nThese billboards and posters are
placed in multiple outdoor locations around Merseyside\, including:\n\n S
 alt + Tar\, Bootle\, L20 1AA\n Bootle Library\, L20 3EN\n The World of G
 lass\, St Helens\, WA10\, 1BX (indoors during gallery opening hours)\n\n&n
