‘But That’s None of My Business’ is an exhibition formed by twelve i
ndividual artists from Liverpool Hope University. They have created new ar
twork separate to their normal practices\, and have introduced a group the
me looking at political ideas and issues. It has been argued that all art
is political\, but focusing on our own personal opinions to matters we are
individually concerned with\, we intend to challenge the notions of our v
iewers and initially explore the effects art can have on politics and vice
versa.\n\nPlease come along if you have an appreciation for art or have b
een affected by chronic liberalism\, but more so if political expression t
hrough creative means appeals to you. We will also be holding a workshop\,
where you will be able to passively aggressively express your political g
rievances!\n\nThe creative workshop event will be between 12pm - 2pm.\nGet
involved and create protest signs tackling issues you wish to voice! Work
created by attendees will later be included in our Private View\, alongsi
de exhibited artwork!\n(Space is limited so come early to participate!)\n\
nAnd finally our Private View will be held 6pm - 8pm.\nHere you will have
the chance to meet and talk to each individual artist about their politica
l work on display\, or about their current practices in the studios.\n(Fre
e Moxie canvas bags - first come first serve!)
