ependents Biennial 2025: Artist Surgery #1
DESCRIPTION:Independents Biennial 2025: Artist Surgery #1\nConvenience Gall
 ery\n29/08/2024\, 12pm - 6pm\n\nIndependents Biennial is doing things diff
erently next year. We'll have the usual commissions\, exhibition spaces\,
and collaborative opportunities for artists\, but we also want to support
existing projects and drive artist ambitions.So\, starting at Convenience
Gallery\, we're hosting a series of artist surgeries\, asking artists with
big ideas for next year\, how we can help to achieve them.\n\nIndependent
s Biennial 2025 is happening all over Merseyside\, with cultural leaders f
rom each borough supporting artists and planning.\n\nStarting with Conveni
ence Gallery in Wirral\, we're inviting any ideas\, from any artists\, wit
h anything to do with the Wirral\, or any plans that might happen here\, t
o just come and throw them at us.\n\nIf we can\, we'll make them a reality
  for next year's programme. If we can't\, we'll keep talking\, and we'll w
ork out what's missing in Merseyside so that all artists have a level play
ing field and access to the opportunities and space that they need. If it
doesn't exist yet\, maybe we'll make it.\n\nThat's what these surgeries ar
e for: Working things out together.\n\nFrom 12-4pm you can drop in\, meet
some of the Independents Biennial team\, and talk through ideas informall
 y.\n\nAt 4pm we'll have a round-table discussion with anyone who wants fee
dback from fellow artists\, and an opportunity to talk through their work.
\n\nBooking:\nEventbrite registration link for 4pm onwards (FREE): Eventbr
