SUMMARY:Liverpool: Citywide: When I’m 64 by BBC Radio Merseyside: Sgt Pep
 per at 50
DESCRIPTION:When I’m 64\nby\nBBC Radio Merseyside\n\n08 June - Citywide\n
\nIs age just a number? Are you only as old as you feel?\n\nPaul McCartney
penned the song when he was a teenager\, and when he returned to it in la
te 1966 as the Beatles prepared to start recording Sgt Pepper\, his own da
d Jim had recently turned…64.\n\nThis is all about an inter-generational
look at how people approach modern life and will focus on 14 to 64-year-o
lds\, considering what age really means to them.\n\nWe’ll look at what i
t means to be 64 today. And we’ll celebrate one of the most joyous of th
e Beatles’ songs with a mass sing-along live on the radio.\n\nSixty Four
choirs (of all ages) from across the city will join together to perform t
he track which has inspired this project.\n\nHeaded by BBC Radio Merseysid
e\, the results of this exciting project will be broadcast on air.\n\nDon
’t miss being part of it all.\n\nFor more information: https://www.sgtp
