SUMMARY:Chester Arts Centre: Chester Arts Centre: Robert Burgess\, Talk & E
 xhibition
DESCRIPTION:Join us for some truly unique art (and a glass of wine\, of cou
rse)!\n\nRobert Burgess\, whom we love dearly (both for his beautiful art
and his amazing personality!)\, will talk about his exhibition 'Seaside Ha
unts' at Chester Art Centre\, which includes a set of thirteen paintings b
ased upon the social impressions left after a stay at Whitley Bay\, Northu
mbria\, in 2014.\n\n'I have given each painting a simple title – a hint
about how to consider the view. For instance\, “Stranded” has two figu
res on a beach\, in a situation of impasse. These paintings are narrative
works where the observer can decide what the story\, if there is any coher
ent one\, is within each one. They stand alone and do not constitute a ser
ies. They are all painted in oils'.\n\nLook forward to seeing you on Frida
 y\, 14 October at 6 PM!
