\nWhat is Change the Scene?\nLed by Croydon-based accessible music charity
Club Soda\, Change the Scene is a campaign that spotlights autistic and l
earning-disabled musicians and DJs\, whilst also encouraging mainstream ve
nues and audiences to engage with the thriving disability arts scene.\n\n\
 n\n\n\n\n\n\nLuminous Starchild\nClassically-trained producer Luminous St
archild is a visionary with the music to match.\nInspired by cute-core an
 d J-pop\, the other-worldly imagination of Luminous Starchild (they/them)
continues to grow whilst taking us along for the ride as both a live perfo
rmer and a DJ.\nThe producer and musician—who is classically trained in
piano and composition—began making drum and bass on Garageband at the st
art of the pandemic. What began as something to pass the time became a who
le new creative direction for the South Londoner. Two years later and with
a home studio setup\, they released their debut EP ‘Lucid Dreaming’\,
a pulsating\, high-octane journey that pulls from breakcore\, vocaloid hy
 per-pop\, Euro-dance and Euro-beat.\nIn 2025\, Luminous Starchild was comm
issioned to compose a piece that would be performed alongside the London M
ozart Players orchestra. Performed and filmed at the iconic Fairfield Ha
lls\, it was a deeply moving and inspirational performance that captured p
 ure\, unadulterated joy.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDJ FlukeyDook\nYou can trust Fl
ukeyDook to get the job done. The vinyl-loving Croydonite has a penchant
for underground sounds\, spinning garage\, house and hip-hop. As one of th
e most experienced DJs in the Club Soda crew—he’s got 30 years of DJin
g under his belt—he knows how to life a dancefloor with funk-laden beats
  and bouncy basslines.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nTheophilus Ajayi\n“Wonderfully d
irect... uniquely wide-eyed... utterly enchanting EP - WIRE\n\nA force of
nature\, Greenwich-born Nigerian artist Theophilus Ajayi is a singer\, son
gwriter\, producer and multi-instrumentalist. Drawing from pop\, funk and
rock\, Theophilus is particularly inspired by the places he visits and the
stories behind them. Check out Blackpool with its West African grooves\,
‘Croydon’ with its indie-sleaze temperament and the acoustic ballad
‘Liverpool’.\n\nTheophilus Ajayi’s love of music began in childhood\
, taking up the guitar and drums in primary school. It wouldn’t be long
until he added keys and singing to the mix\, and began making demos\, deve
loping his penchant for song-writing.\n\nWith two EPs behind him—’Epic
’ and ‘Destinations’\, there’s plenty ahead of this vibrant and dy
namic autistic artist.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nClub Soda and Change the Scene i
s supported by Arts Council England\nYoung Blue Room is supported by the H
 ealth Lottery Foundation.\n\n\n\n\n
