SUMMARY:Cass Art: Cass Art: Linocut for Autumn
DESCRIPTION:Come and join this friendly session and become addicted to reli
ef printing. It can be an introduction to linocutting or a chance for exp
erienced printmakers wanting a theme to focus on. Examples and demonstrat
ions will be used to help learners understand design to print process. Yo
u will create a design using an Autumn theme\, (seedheads\, dried leaves e
tc.). Once your design is finalised you will transfer it to lino and begi
n cutting. Printing will take place after your lino is cut. You will use
a variety of papers\, a choice of coloured ink as well as classic black.
Once you have created an edition of prints we will have an informal crit
ique on results\, share successes and ideas and a chance to review the aft
ernoon.\n\nMel Sullivan is an experienced and tutor\, having taught for ov
er 30 years. Her passion is printmaking and she will show examples of her
