An art, music and culture festival in the heart of Liverpool.
9th. – 19th February 2017
Artists, musicians and creators from all over the city and beyond are coming together to put on a series of free events celebrating this magnificent city and promoting a message of love.
Liverpool & Love
Spanning all four floors of The Carlisle Buildings 67 – 69 Victoria St, L1 6DE, this open art exhibition is all about bringing people together in the common theme, Liverpool and love. With over thirty local and international artists already signed up this promises to be a show to remember.
The exhibition opens with an evening hosted by ROAD Studios at 6 – 9.30pm on Friday10th. and a closing night hosted by ABC L1 at 7pm – late on Friday 17th. As well as being open during our regular hours. 2 – 6pm Monday – Saturday, or you can view at any time by appointment, everyone has got the opportunity to come down.
Loverpool LIVE
From 8 pm ’til late on the 11th. some of Liverpool’s finest musicians and performers take over The Courtroom Cafe, 57 Victoria St, L1 6DE. With bands, DJ’s and acoustic performers there will be a wide variety of fresh and established talent.
Stick around after for the ‘Late Night Jam’. From microphones to maracas, any true music lover can get in on the action, or just watch as people come together to create truly original sounds.
Loverpool Market
Running the whole length of the festival 9th – 19th at the Courtroom Cafe. Creators & Collectors sell their wares completely commission free so you know all the money you spend is going towards supporting Liverpool’s creative community.
Open during Courtroom Cafe hours you can get your shopping done while enjoying tea and cake, or find that perfect gift while taking a break from the dance floor. With valentine’s day just round the corner you might find that special something you’re searching for.
LARA – Liverpool Refugee and Asylum Seeker Association
LARA is an asylum seeker and refugee led group, aiming to support and improve the well being of asylum seekers and refugees in Liverpool. A grass-roots group that raise awareness and campaign for the rights of refugees and asylum seekers in the UK.
During the course of the festival LARA volunteers will be around to answer questions and spread awareness of this very pertinent issue, as well as providing a good home for the loose change in your pockets in their collection tins.
Other Events
Mon 13th. ‘Sing with Love’ an open music event where people can come and learn to sing some well known Love songs.
Tues 14th. ‘Liverpool Acoustic’ at The Courtroom Cafe, something different to do with alone, with friends or as a couple.
18th. If you can’t get enough of that Loverpool stuff then the ‘Loverpool After-Party’ is the gig for you and the official close of the the festival.

Come and discover Liverpool’s truest hidden gem. A hive of creativity, skill & talent all ‘jam packed’ into three Victorian buildings (opposite the Shankly hotel) 57 – 69 Victoria street, Liverpool, L1 6DE, managed by Creative Space Team, a charity organisation enabling creative businesses access to affordable ‘Art’ space in the bustling city centre.
