SUMMARY:Cornerstone: Cap[stone Theatre: Hillsborough: one boys story of a t
 ragedy
DESCRIPTION:Liverpool Author Shaun Millea's Heartfelt Tale of Hillsborough
Tragedy Takes Center Stage\nShaun Millea\, children’s author and advocat
e\, brings his poignant story of the Hillsborough disaster to life in an e
motionally charged theatrical production. Adapted from his acclaimed child
ren's book\, "Hillsborough When Will Dad Be Home?” the play offers a gri
pping portrayal of resilience and remembrance.\n\nMillea's journey began i
n 2019 with the release of his book\, aimed at educating children across t
he UK about the tragic events of Hillsborough. Now\, in collaboration with
a dedicated creative team\, Millea's narrative takes the stage at the Cap
stone Theatre on April 11th and 12th\, offering audiences an immersive exp
erience into the harrowing aftermath of the fateful day in 1989.\n\nProduc
ed by Kevin Roach and directed by Zara Marie Brown\, the production promis
es to be an evening of thought-provoking storytelling. Through the eyes of
fictional character Frankie and his family\, audiences will witness a tou
ching exploration of grief\, acceptance\, and hope.\n\n"I've always believ
ed in the power of storytelling to evoke empathy and understanding\," says
Millea. "Through this play\, we aim to ensure that the memory of Hillsbor
ough lives on\, and that its lessons are never forgotten."\n\nIn addition
to providing entertainment\, the production serves as a platform for educa
tion. All proceeds from merchandise and ticket sales will support the 'Hil
lsborough Educational Campaign\,' an initiative dedicated to distributing
Millea's book to schools across the nation.\n\nFeaturing a talented cast o
f local Liverpool actors including Joel Cousins\, Lucy Warering\, Mike San
 ders\, Deborah Elizabeth\, Don Danks\, Leah Cloud\, and Kevin Cubbin\, the
production resonates with authenticity and heart.\n\nDirector Zara Marie
Brown shares her enthusiasm for the project\, stating\, "Hillsborough is a
pivotal moment in Liverpool's history\, and we are honored to bring this
story to the stage. It's about more than a tragic event\; it's about the s
trength of family and community in the face of adversity."\n\nDon't miss t
his unforgettable theatrical experience. Join us at the Capstone Theatre o
n April 11th and 12th for an evening of reflection\, emotion\, and solidar
ity.\n\nFor tickets and more information\, visit the official website here
