 n Lydon\, makes his debut appearance at WoWFEST discussing his newly rel
 eased expanded edition of Dark Luminosity: Memoirs of a Geezer. Get ready
  for an enthralling night of storytelling as Jah Wobble\, arguably the gr
 eatest bass player of his generation\, recounts tales from his frank and f
 ascinating memoir. WoW’s own Lord Borthbury will be on the decks playi
 ng music selected by Jah Wobble from his roadmap of musical memories. 
  \n\nJah Wobble\, born John Wardle in 1958\, was renamed by Sid Vicious 
 who at the time struggled to pronounce his name correctly. He is an Englis
 h bassist\, singer and composer\, who began his astounding 45+ year career
  in music as a founding member of Public Image Limited in 1978 with former
  Sex Pistols frontman John Lydon\, quickly becoming known for his distinct
 ive and trailblazing bass\, combining elements of dub\, funk and world mus
 ic.  \n\nIn 1980 he left PiL to pursue a solo career\, releasing his deb
 ut album The Legend Lives On … Jah Wobble In Betrayal\, followed over t
 he years by a succession of acclaimed solo albums and collaborations with 
 the likes of Holger Czukay from Can\, The Edge from U2\, Chris Connelly fr
 om Ministry\, Geordie Walker from Killing Joke\, Brian Eno\, Sinead O’Co
 nnor and Bjork. His work showcases his unique style and his interest in wo
 rld music\, particularly that of Africa and the Middle East. His innovativ
 e ability to blend diverse styles into a cohesive whole continues to recei
 ve accolades. \n\nJah Wobble is also a prolific writer and author\, havin
 g published books on music\, politics and spirituality. He has stories to 
 tell and recounts them with charm\, humour and honesty. One of his recent 
 solo albums\, The Bus Routes Of South London\, was written and recorded o
