SUMMARY:Northern Lights: Book Launch: Peter Cameron\, Artistic Convictions
DESCRIPTION:Peter Cameron is an artist who has a studio in Hub Studios - No
rthern Lights. Peter’s work is mostly figurative..."I find it hard to pa
int pictures without people in them"... Quirky\, ominous and amusing are w
ords often used to describe his images. He uses most paint media\, but Pet
er's favoured medium is soft pastels where he can work close to the surfac
 e. This allows him to either minimise the random effects of his Parkinson'
s disease\, or "just let the syndrome do the talking"... He says he is gla
d of the choice\, and enjoys the element of surprise.\n\nAn exhibition of
limited edition prints by Peter Cameron to celebrate the launch of his boo
k Artistic Convictions.\n\nAvailable to purchase from Peter in Hub Art Stu
dios.\n\nPeter Cameron's artistic convictions center on using creativity f
or personal freedom and expression\, even when confronting difficult circu
mstances. His conviction is deeply rooted in the idea that art can be a po
werful tool for personal change and a path to a new life.
