DESCRIPTION:Sat 27 Apr\, 11am - 5pm\nSpend time drawing your own botanical 
 still life and turn it into an original screen printed piece of art\, usin
 g UV exposed screens and experimental screen printing techniques to add co
 lour.\n\nCourse Location: Bluecoat Screen Print Studio\n\nExperience Level
 : Beginners &amp\; people needing a refresher into the process\n\nDuration
 : The course runs for one day (11:00am - 5:00) with a break for lunch\n\nD
 uring this one day course you will spend time drawing\, from still life\, 
 a positive for screen printing your own piece of art. After creating your 
 positive and exposing your hand drawn screen\, You’ll be talked through 
 some experimental screen techniques to add colour to your prints. You'll f
 inish the workshop by using our screen-beds to ink and print your artwork 
 onto paper in a small edition that you can take home with you.\n\nWhat’s
  Included?\n\nAll materials you will use are included in the cost of the c
 ourse\, but you are welcome to bring along your own if you choose. Our stu
 dios are environmentally friendly where possible and use greener methods o
 f screen printing\, such as water-based acrylic inks. Completing this cour
 se will act as an Induction to book into our Screen Printing Studio should
  you wish to.\n\nDo I need to prepare anything beforehand?\n\nYou will hav
 e time to draw your image on the day\, but If you would like to prepare an
  image to bring with you to print you can use:\n\nInkjet/Laser Print: Plea
 se make sure it is either in BLACK INK ONLY on acetate/transparency\n\nHan
 d drawn image: Please use opaque ink pens (we use black posca markers) on 
 tracing paper or acetate/transparency for your image to expose correctly.\
 n\n(Please be aware that you will need an image/drawing on a separate shee
 t for each colour of your print)\n\nCourse Structure\n\n11am – 11:30pm: 
 Introduction to the day\, the process and each other\n\n11:30am – 12:30:
  Draw your positive from still life\n\n12:30pm – 1pm: Lunch break\n\n1:0
 0pm – 2:00pm: Expose screens\, washout stencils\, and learn the process 
 of how UV screen printing works.\n\n2pm – 3pm: Learn some experimental p
 rinting techniques to add colour to your prints\n\n3:00pm – 5pm: Learn a
