See how it evaporates and hardens over the dryin g time. Cold Wax is malleable\, you can move it around\, working back into the surface. You can build multiple layers\, allowing each layer to semi dry in between applications working with ‘reduction’ techniques using different tools to scrap into the surface.\n\nWe will use different drawin g materials such as oil pastels &\; oil sticks to create meaningful mar ks beneath the surface\, these may/may-not be exposed later\, techniques k nown as excavation and sgraffito.\n\nTutor: Amanda Oliphant\n\nAmanda Olip hant graduated with a BA (Hons) degree in Fine Art at LJMU followed by an MA in Art as Environment at MMU.
