SUMMARY:Bluecoat: Bluecoat: Jesc Bunyard: Aural.Effect
DESCRIPTION:Jesc Bunyard: Aural.Effect\n\nExperience dance in a new way\, t
hrough sound. Join us for this performance in which visual artist Jesc Bun
yard invites dancer Elinor Lewis to create a work performed in the dark. B
unyard noticed how music covers up the sounds of the dancers during perfor
mances\, and in doing so masks the physical and emotional effort that the
dancers exert.\n\nIn Aural.Effect\, Bunyard aims to draw attention to the
effort of dance and movement through Elinor Lewis’ improvisation of a pe
rformative dance piece in the dark.\n\nAlso join us at 6pm on Wed 18 Jan f
or Space to Breathe\, a two hour movement masterclass led by INHABIT artis
t Jo Blowers. A precursor to Aural.Effect\, this workshop will explore the
bridge between movement and aural expression.
