 \ncurated by Julie Falkingham\n\nJÓL - the old Norse Winter Solstice cele
 bration of the returning of the light after the short days and long nights
  of winter.\n\nThis exhibition will concentrate on beautifully handcrafted
  works in wood\, metal\, textiles\, leather\, ceramics and glass by leadin
 g makers from the UK and beyond to either give as gifts or use over the fe
 stive period.\n\nWith a strong emphasis on simplicity and quality the exhi
 bition will aim to evoke the sense of peace and tranquility reminiscent of
  winter nights gathered around the fire with friends and family sharing st
 ories and food as a welcome antidote to the frenetic\, throw away culture 
 of the modern Christmas celebration.\n\nThe makers will include\n\nBasketr

  Alex De Vol\, David Mellor &amp\;\nDavid White\nTextiles - Laidain Aiken\
