 ’ series\, telling the story of a young girl finding her activist voice.

 ticket via eventbrite to avoid disappointment.\n\nAbout Natalie Denny \n\
 nNatalie Denny is the published author of the Keisha Jones series of child
 ren's books\, and is an EDI advocate who is d/Deaf.\n\nNatalie is the awar
 d-winning force behind Skywriters Ltd\, a creative education social enter
 prise. Her roles include writer\, activist\, tutor and EDI Consultant for
  Anthony Walker Foundation. Natalie is also a recipient of the BBC Radio
  1Xtra Future Figures Award 2023.\n\nNatalie is also co-founder of The Go
 ddess Projects\, an organisation with the mission to empower\, inspire and
  assist Black women and women of colour to develop and achieve in their co
 mmunities.\n\nNatalie graduated from The Open University with an open degr
 ee which incorporated creative writing. Natalie was runner-up in Writing o
 n the Wall’s ‘Pulp Idol’ 2019 competition and author of the children
 ’s educational book ‘Her Hair: A Crown’\, a resource developed in pa
 rtnership with Manchester University\, Ahmed Iqbal Ullah Race Relations Ce
 ntre\, and Cedar Mount Girls group\, to diversify the curriculum in Manche
 ster Schools.\n\nNatalie’s debut children’s novel ‘Keisha Jones Take
 s on the World’ was released in August 2023\, illustrated by Chanté Tim
 othy and published by Little Tiger Books UK. The sequel soon followed and 
 has quickly become a firm favourite with children\, showing them they can 
 use their voice to speak against injustice.\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nAbout Keisha Jon
 es \n\nBrimming with ideas and passion\, Keisha’s determined to stamp d
 own injustices and stand up for what she believes…\n\nWhen Grandpa Joe t
 ells Keisha about Great Aunt Bee\, who was a lawyer and an activist\, Keis
 ha is determined to follow in her footsteps. Forming the Bee Squad\, she e
 nlists her friends KD and Paisley to help put an end to inequality. Soon t
 hey have their first cause.\n\nIncensed by the fact that her local pet sho
 p is selling male rabbits for more than female ones\, Keisha lobbies the m
 anager who explains that he’s overrun with female rabbits. The cheaper p
 rice is just a sales incentive. Uh-uh. It’s time to stand up for rabbits
 ’ rights. But mixing up the bunnies has consequences far beyond those Ke
 isha could have imagined!\n\nA funny and timely new series featuring a str

 n\nAbout DDFI40\n\nDaDaFest International returns 8th-31st March 2025 to c
 elebrate DaDa's 40th Anniversary and this time we are coming with ‘RAGE:
  A Quiet Riot’.\n\nDDFI40 will showcase work by disabled artists that ca
 ptures all shapes and sides of rage. From the internal quiet frustrations 
 and righteous rage\, to overt injustice and activism\, DDFI40 will explore
  disability rights\, disability arts\, access\, ableism and ‘Rage’ in 
 an explosion of creativity.
