 ar
DESCRIPTION:Collaboration: Out of the Blue\, the story so far.\n\nOut of th
e Blue is part of Bluecoat's award winning participation programme which s
eeks to make our work as accessible as possible to individuals and communi

e has engaged with over 200 children and families from Norris Green\, Walt
 on\, Anfield\, Granby\, Breckfield and Kensington in community-based after
school arts clubs\, holiday activities\, and family weekends at Bluecoat.
All activities are inspired by the gallery programme at Bluecoat and seek
to develop a deeper connection and understanding for children with contem
porary art and cultural spaces. They also engage children and families wi
th learning disabled adults from their communities\, who are members of Bl
uecoat’s Blue Room project.\n\nJoin us for an exhibition celebrating the
achievements of the project over the past three years. Featuring work dev
eloped by children and Blue Room in collaboration with Liverpool based art
ist Dave Evans\, the exhibition takes visitors on a journey through the pr
oject as told in film and visual arts.\n\nOut of the Blue has been made po
ssible by a grant from the Paul Hamlyn Foundation.\n\nSat 22 Oct 1-4pm\n\n
