 m - 5pm\, £45\nProgramme:\nOn this intensive one-day course you will lear
 n to take control of your camera to take better pictures\, understanding a
 nd using the different modes available on most digital cameras. The day wi
 ll include both theory and practical exercises and will cover:\n\n\n 	the 
 basics of how a digital camera works\n 	what the different controls do\n 	
 understanding exposure\n 	understanding aperture\n 	the impact of differen
 t shutter speeds\n 	natural light and artificial light\n 	the basics of co
 mposition.\n\nTo get the most from this course you will need your own digi
 tal camera which allows you to manually control aperture\, shutter speed\,
  ISO (sensitivity) and focus.\nTutor: Mark Reeves\nThe tutor is Wirral-bas
 ed photographer Mark Reeves. Mark has been a photographer for many years\,
  having worked with both film and digital processes. He has worked as a ph
 oto-journalist with work published in national newspapers and specialist m
 agazines. In 2014 he was runner-up in the urban section of the prestigious
  Landscape Photographer of the Year award. He holds the Licentiate distinc
 tion from the Royal Photographic Society and regularly exhibits and sells 
 his work at a range of different galleries.\nDates:\nSunday 14th October\,
