SUMMARY:Make North Docks: Independents Biennial 2018: Open planning meeting
DESCRIPTION:Independents Biennial 2018: Open planning meeting\nMake. North
 Docks\n27.03.2018\n6-8pm\n\nRSVP essential: here\n\nArt in Liverpool are r
unning the fringe to Liverpool Biennial 2018\, and there are exciting oppo
rtunities for artists\, galleries and groups to get involved with.\n\nOur
main hope is to develop a festival that celebrates the independent creativ
e communities that exist around the region\, in Halton\, Knowsley\, Liverp
ool\, Sefton\, St Helens\, and The Wirral.\n\nWe'll be using this meeting
to announce some of our news around commissions\, and exhibition opportuni
tes\, as well as some of the main themes keeping the festival together. Ea
ch council in the region has its own naturally occuring themes\, and uniqu
e identity\, and we want to give equal volume to all their voices.\n\nAnd
as with all our meetings\, it's a chance for frank and honest feedback to
 the festival's leaders\, from artists\, public\, galleries and organisers\
, which we'll use to help us shape a festival\, for independents\, by inde
pendents.\n\n--\n\nIf the fringe to one of the world's biggest festivals o
f contemporary art wasn't enough...\n\nThe first copies of issue #2 of Art
in Liverpool Magazine will be handed out at the meeting too\, so its a ch
ance to be the first to see our adventorous new publication before anyone
 else.\n\n--\n\nVenue Details:\n\n[caption id="attachment_71124" align="ali
gnnone" width="725"] New Atrium at Make Liverpool[/caption]\n\nPlease join
us at 18:00 for talks\, networking and conversation around the festival\n

is fully accessible\n\nFor any enquiries about access please let us know a
