DESCRIPTION:Behind the Scenes at the Rathbone Studio.\n\nDuring the Wirral 
 Open Studio tour on Saturday 11 June and Sunday 12 June 2016\, the Rathbon
 e Studio is opening its doors to its pottery studio for visitor to go behi
 nd the scenes. Janet Holmes\, owner of the Rathbone Studio will be demonst
 rating the pottery process to create her sculptural pieces. People will al
 so be encouraged to have a go and try some of the pottery techniques thems
 elves.\n\nThe artists also exhibiting their work at the Rathbone Studio th
 is year are Linda Evans\, whose abstract paintings and felt paintings are 
 exhibited throughout the Northwest and Wales. Jean Maskell will be exhibit
 ing her poetry\, pottery and paintings that have very strong social messag
 es\, and have been exhibited at many galleries in the Wirral including the
  Williamson Art Gallery. A new comer to the Wirral Open Studio tour this y
 ear is Anita Varey\, who runs her own watercolour workshops in Moreton. An
 ita will be also holding watercolour demonstrations over the Open weekend.
 \n\nBehind the Scenes is arranged in conjunction with the Wirral Open Stud
 io tour\, which is an annual showcase of work by artists in the Wirral.\n\
 nJanet Holmes of the Rathbone Studio said\, “This is such a great event\
 , last year we received over 100 visitors at the Rathbone Studio\, showing
  the interest in local\, original artwork and how it is created.”\n\nWir
 ral Open Studio tour is on Saturday 11 June between 10.00 - 5.00 and on Su
 nday 12 June 11.00 – 5.00.\n\nThe pottery demonstrations at the Rathbone
