5)\n\nBassam Issa Al-Sabah’s dreamlike worlds of animation\, painting an
d sculpture offer visions of resistance\, transformation and queer possibi
lity. In this new work\, Bassam explores the glossy appeal of digital medi
a — its seductive surfaces\, its power to shape desire\, and its grip on
how we see ourselves. But do these images reveal who we truly are\, or ha
ve we been taught to long for the impossible?\n\nMEET ME IN THE DIGITAL TW
IN (2025)\n\nNina Davies blends fiction and non-fiction in her work to he
lp us see the world in new ways. For this project\, she worked with Eve\,
Luke and Mel\, three young people from the Liverpool City Region who acces
s the support of the Teenage and Young Adult Unit at The Clatterbridge Can
cer Centre NHS Foundation Trust. Over the past year\, the group came toget
her to imagine a fictional podcast and film\, inspired by the complexities
and confusion of living with and beyond cancer.\n\n
