SUMMARY:ArtHouse Gallery: ArtHouse: Faded Glory: a new aesthetic
DESCRIPTION:'Faded Glory' visually examines the decline in British coastal
resorts since the heydays of the late Victorian era through to the 1950’
s-60’s. The view presented by our holiday resorts is vastly different no
w than it was in the past. The exhibition seeks to find a new aesthetic in
decline and show a new perspective on how we visualise the ‘Seaside Res
 ort’.
