DESCRIPTION:Join local professional photographer Steve Samosa on a free b
 eginners level course designed to build your confidence with digital ph
 otography. Using either your camera or smart phone\, you will be guided 
 through the process of understanding and maximising the use of your own eq
 uipment. With lots of opportunities to practice your skills both indoors a
 nd outdoors\, you will learn how to take better photographs and how to use
  your camera's features and settings to enhance them.\n\nThe course will r
 un on Thursdays 1 - 4pm on the following dates:\n18 September\, 25 Septemb
 er\, 2 October\, 9 October\, 16 October\,\n23 October\, 30 October\, 6 Nov
 ember\n\nThe course will cover:\n•    An introduction to camera setti
 ngs - Here we show you the different auto and manual modes found on your 
 camera and why you will never use auto again! A task will be set allowing 
 you to take your first steps to going fully manual.\n•    How to comp
 ose photographs and understand common photography jargon.\n•    Shut
 ter speed - you’ll be taught how to control movement in your photos via
  the shutter speed.\n•    Focusing – Getting your pictures pin sha
 rp!\n•    Aperture &amp\; Depth of Field.\n•    The importance o
 f understanding light.\n•    The Exposure Triangle\, Aperture\, shutt
 er speed\, and ISO make up the three sides of the exposure triangle. They 
 work together to produce a photo that is properly exposed.\n•    Came
 ra equipment - A look at different types of camera gear\, which ones are 
 best to use for learning and what are the essential pieces of equipment yo
 u will need.\n•    Post-production and Raw Files - Here you will be 
 introduced into your next stage of photographic excellence – The post-pr

 ial\n\nPlease note you must use your own photographic equipment\n\nIt is r
 ecommended that you attend all of the sessions as each consecutive worksho
 p builds on the last.\n\nThe sessions are suitable for every level of expe
 rience\, but please note\, as well as bringing your own photographic equip
 ment\, you must be prepared to go out on location.\n\nYou will need:\nA di
