SUMMARY:Liverpool: Aintree Racecourse: Mr Kite’s MUSICIRCUS! by John Cage
  Trust: Sgt Pepper at 50
DESCRIPTION:Mr Kite’s MUSICIRCUS!\nby\nJohn Cage Trust\n\n04 June\, 14:00
  - 17:50\nAintree Racecourse\nInspired by ‘Being for the Benefit of Mr K
ite!’\n\nWhile the Beatles were recording Sgt Pepper in Britain\, across
the Atlantic experimental genius John Cage was creating his own musical m
asterpiece.\n\nNow\, 50 years on\, Sgt Pepper and Cage’s Musicircus are
being entwined in an audacious fairground ride of sights and sounds to cre
ate an immersive sensory spectacular.\n\nMr Kite’s MUSICIRCUS! takes pla
ce over one whirligig afternoon at Aintree Racecourse and is one of the bi
ggest and most ambitious events of the entire Sgt Pepper programme.\n\nIns
piring\, noisy\, joyful and anarchic\, definitely not to be missed. A sple
ndid time is guaranteed for all.\n\nUsing the Beatles’ back catalogue as
inspiration we are asking thousands of local people\, performers\, amateu
r and professional musicians to help us create this strikingly original pe
 rformance.\n\n‘You won’t hear anything: you’ll hear everything!’ J
ohn Cage.\n\nRoll up\, roll up click here to join in the fun!\n\nFind out
