yper Hyper Photography in collaboration with SisBis has created a zine loo
king thoughtfully at the relationships built between women\; discussing th
e value and nuances of such relationships alongside the detrimental effect
s of them\, so as not to decide upon a binary of what is a good relationsh
ip and what is bad\, but to look at our relationships at a personal and in
dividual level to reflect what the shared experience on a larger scale is.
This is the first in a series of zines and submissions for later issues a
re welcome continually.\nPlant Swap Liverpool aims to unite and support th
e growing houseplant hoarding community by creating meet-up events allowin
g people to bring along their pre-loved plants and cuttings to share and s
wap them with others. They aim to create a friendly environment for people
to share their interest and meet those similar in a time when people are
increasingly choosing to bring green life into their homes. At our events\
, they love to support local female artists and craftswomen by creating a
free space for stallholders to sell their handmade goods. At the event the
y’ll be holding a mini Plant Swap station and space to talk about and sh
are plant care tips for new plant parents as well as chatting about what i
t’s like to set up community events.\nA nod of appreciations to the labo
r of love women bring to a kitchen\, which often goes unrecognized in the
culinary world. Alice Lilley will be servicing up some delicious home cook
ing\, inspired by mothers. Expect some tasty GF and vegan cakes\, as well
as hot savory food.\nThe Period Project (Merseyside) formerly known as The
Homeless Period Liverpool will be creating some menstruation inspired art

ducts to be made up into our care packs they distribute throughout Merseys
ide so donations are welcome.\nExhibitchin’ will be holding a pop-up cra
fty workshop: CRAFT + ACTIVISM = where craft and activism meet to reclaim
domestic art and create lovely things. They will be providing craft materi

-october-18/\nRefugee Women Connect\nRefugee Women Connect exists because
women asylum seekers and refugees face inequality and are denied social ju
stice. Refugee and asylum-seeking women can be vulnerable and isolated\, n
ot knowing what their rights are or how to exercise those rights.\n\nRefug
ee women have to overcome many barriers to accessing services and support
and even when asylum seeking women have been able to get support they face
being moved on at short notice to another area where they have no support
networks. The women engage with us at an important turning point in their
lives where they have left an abusive or conflict situation and are tryin
g to deal with the huge change to their lives that this brings about at th
e same time they are trying to navigate the complex asylum process.\nhttps
 ://www.refugeewomenconnect.org.uk/\n\nSisBis\nSisBis is a collective that
puts on parties that aim to be inclusive and full to the brim with good vi
bes and good music. Lisa\, Giovanna and Eliza make each event an opportuni
ty to host an artist that inspires them. Guests have included Nabihah Iqba
l\, Donna Leake\, Mim Suleiman\, Mr Bongo and resident Giovanna. They pull
a friendly crowd who are not scared to go wild on the dance floor. All pr
ofits of their parties go to Refugee Women Connect.\nhttps://www.facebook.
