The Floral Pavilion is a busy, multipurpose venue that attracts over 200,000 visitors a year. We have a team of event coordinators who plan and manage all aspects of event delivery including corporate, hire, weddings and promotions. We have a fantastic opportunity for a talented and enthusiastic individual to join us as an Events Coordinator. You will be proactive in your ideas and decision making, you’ll be methodical and have high expectations of yourself and others. You will take pride in your work, maximizing the theatre and conference centre revenue as well as exceeding customer expectations with your efficient and friendly service.
You will have:
•A record of success in events and conference operations, specifically the ability to deliver profit, control costs, and build customer loyalty
•The ability to work on multiple projects and multi-task in a fast pace, demanding environment
•Exceptional communication skills, including the ability to present clear and concise professional communications to a range of audiences
•Passion for delivering exceptional levels of service
•Event management degree or equivalent
This role is an annualised hour working arrangement. You will be required to work evenings and weekends.
