This is a chance to join a world class arts organisation in Liverpool and play a major role in realising its vision and programme by building effective funding relationships.
Tate Liverpool is one of the largest galleries of modern and contemporary art outside of London, welcoming 650,000 visitors each year.
Our ambitions are matched by an enterprising culture. As public funding reduces, we need to develop significant and long-term partnerships with private funders. The role of Development Manager is crucial to achieving this.
As a key member of the Development team you will identify, approach and secure funding from trusts, institutions and individuals in support of Tate Liverpool’s work. Key tasks will range from preparing proposals and reports, gathering information, co-ordinating approaches with other Tate colleagues to planning a programme of cultivation and stewardship events.
We are looking for a highly effective communicator who has a successful track record of fundraising and donor development in the not-for-profit or cultural sector. Your experience will include writing funding applications and both cultivating and stewarding successful relationships with individual and institutional donors. Your outstanding relationship management and networking will be complemented by a high level of organisational skills and the ability to manage a varied workload. Above all, you’ll have a genuine passion for culture and the visual arts.
