Museum of Liverpool: Hillsborough Tributes Display

Until further notice. Two new items from the Museum of Liverpool’s collection are on public display in the Wondrous Place gallery from 5 April to mark the anniversary of the 1989 Hillsborough tragedy, on 15 April.

Museum of Liverpool: Made up – the Liverpool look

From 1 September 2015 Until further notice. In 2011 the Museum of Liverpool invited people to create an outfit, in miniature, that showcased a 'Liverpool look'. People from all over Merseyside took part.

21 October 2015 - Sunday 25 September 2016. This display of rarely seen images from the Museum of Liverpool's collections shows snapshots of Liverpool children's experiences of growing up over time.

Museum of Liverpool: Reel Stories: Liverpool and the Silver Screen

Friday 11 March 2016 – Sunday 29 January 2017. Displaying around 40 original film posters, this exhibition will throw the spotlight on Liverpool’s cinematic history. As the most-filmed city in the UK outside of London, Reel Stories will explore numerous themes to demonstrate Liverpool’s ability to take on a leading role.
