After a couple of months of a completely full cave, we now have a space available. This co-working space is available to move into this month…

It would suit artists, illustrators, digital gurus, wizards, freelance astronauts, photographers, designers, etc etc.

The Cave, an exciting new collaborative project from Portfolio Creative Agency and Sizewell Illustration Club occupy part of the old Magistrates Court building on Victoria Street from early February, 2016.

Based in the centre of Liverpool, the project and space will provide some of the most affordable studio and desk locations for artists, freelancers and small businesses.

Tom Burnham, Lucy Roberts and Paul Waring are to manage the space on a non-for profit basis in order to benefit the local creative community and provide a low-cost space for new and established individuals or partners to grow their business and flourish in the Liverpool community.

Our needs were simple. We wanted a friendly space to work in, where we could hold meetings with clients and work in an environment filled with other talented individuals. So this is exactly what we are offering.

Members will get their own dedicated space, enough for a small workshop environment or desk space for one or two people. Internet is included as well as all bills and access to kitchen facilities, good coffee, a large cleaning area for ‘messy’ artists and printmakers and a communal chill-out area. The added benefit is being surrounded with people to whom you can provide your valuable skills and experience and who can do the same for you in return.”

The spaces, each 56 square feet (8ftx7ft) include a desk and chair, and cost £85. average cost for a service like this would ordinarily be much higher.
