Testing Ground: Callout to Artists and Creatives for Proposals.

Have you got an idea or project that you need help with, or support to get off the ground? Join us at a live event at which artists and creatives share ideas for insights and feedback.

Come along as an audience member, or put forward a proposal to be discussed with a panel of professionals.

Submitting your Proposal
Up to five proposals will be considered and supported followed by a general conversation on creativity, progress and innovation in the arts.

Applications are welcomed from professionals working in all areas of the arts, who are emerging to mid-career level. You can be based in any part of England as long as you are able to be at the event and make your way to our live event on Wed 4 May.

Submissions are encouraged from the literature and spoken word sector which is often under-represented in mentoring, funding, innovation and CPD provision.

Proposals are invited from early April. Please email your proposal on one side of A4 to including the following informtion:

– Your idea or project
– What you most wish to develop or learn from your idea or project; the perceived complications and opportunities
– Some of the issues you would like the panel to address

The deadline for submissions is 23:59 on Sunday 24 April 2016. Selected applicants will be notified on or before Tuesday 26 April 2016.

Testing Ground is part of Mentoring Three Ways curated by Melanie Abrahams and funded by Arts Council England. Liverpool events are delivered in conjunction with Liverpool John Moores University.
